I was in Thailand on this years Valentine’s Day. So I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Thailand by sending flowers to my girl friend through some online flourist. After searching for few hours on internet I cameup with the site called flowersofthailand.com. Valentine's Flowers I liked on of their items, but that particular item did not have deliver to Ayutthaya provice where my girl friend works. According to their website the item VT046 delivery is only available at Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Pathumthani provinces. So before placing the order I contacted them with the delivery address. I got a reply saying that, “You can have your flower delivered by Valentine’s day! ”
But this year cupid did not work in favor of me. I did not get my flowers delivered on Valentine’s Day. My girl friend was sad and I had a real disappointed Valentine’s day. My girl friend called their support team to cancel the order, but got the reply that they can’t cancel the order. I was getting angry. Before calling my credit card bank to get it carge backed I sent an email to the flourist’s support team.
I wasn’t expecting a reply. But they did send a reply saying sorry for what happened. From what I understood from their email, their courier service did some mistake. Now, I understand that mistakes can happen during a busy day like Valentine’s Day. After sending me their apology thet immediately delivered the flowers and offered me a free flower delivery. Though they have charged my credit card, I can always get it charge backed from VISA. But I am not doing that because I know the difficulties of an internet website owner. Now I am happy that they responded in the right manner and also have offered free gift for me.
I will contact them and ask them to deliver my free gift. I will post the update here. :)
