Ever since India got freedome there was always tension between India and Pakistan due to terrorism. Peace loving people from both the countries over the years tried hard to maintain good relations between the two countries. But often few politicians used this tension as a weapon to get vote and gain power.
During the recent years the relationship between India and Pakistan a lot. On midnight sunday, 18th February 2007, at least 67 people were killed and 50 injured when two firebombs went off on the New Delhi-Wagah Samjhauta Express. Most of the dead, including three children, are Pakistani citizens. This is the first time civilians of Pakistan have died in a terrorist strike on Indian soil. This attack happened before Pakistan foreign ministers arrival. On Tuesday 20th February, 2007, Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid M Kasuri arrived in New Delhi for talks on the peace process between India and Pakistan. The terrorists’ intention was to plot the incident as hindu extremists attack on Pakistanis. But the plot failed.
