But the Indian team’s failure is not ending here. On thursday, India have been fined by ICC for a slow over rate during their World Cup match agaist Sri Lanka last week in Trinidad. As per the ICC rules, Indian players were fined 5 per cent of their match fees for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time and the Indian team captain Rahul Dravid fined 10% of his match fee. India lost the match by 69 runs to Sri Lanka in Group B and failed to qualify to super eitght.
