We all know about the 7 wonders of ancient world. Now after many years the people around the globe are voting for new 7 wonders of the World. The campaign is conducted by the “New7Wonders Foundation” was created in 2001 by Swiss adventurer Bernard Weber, with a mission to protect humankind’s heritage across the globe. Now, as the campaign nears its final stages, experts have considered the 77 sites with the highest number of votes and drawn up a shortlist of 21. These finalists were announced on January 1, 2006. They will now go forward for a final 18 months of voting by the global public , before the unique winning seven locations are announced on a fitting date - July 7, 2007
